Touch of Faete

I discovered the Ligia de Wit on Critique Circle, where I am also a member. Touch of Faete is her debut novel.

A Touch of Faete is the first of a planned series featuring Ryanne and Titus. Ryanne is a young human woman who works in a nursing home, but she is also a "seer" who has special entry to the world of faerie. Titus, on the other hand, is an immortal creature fashioned by an enemy of the fae with one mission: kill the fae.

Ryanne must decide whether Titus can be redeemed and if she can help him find his own touch of faete inside his (literally) heartless chest.

The characters are engaging, and the action moves quickly. Romance readers won't be disappointed by the "will they, won't they?" and fantasy readers will have lots to enjoy in the world-building.
